The 2022 BET Awards air on BET on Sunday, June 26, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. You can stream it on Philo and fuboTV.
Taraji P. Henson hosts the awards show, honoring entertainers, television programs and other public figures. Those nominated for several awards such as “Video of the Year” and “Album of the Year” include Doja Cat, SZA, Ari Lennox, Drake, Future and Young Thug.
Some of the performers taking the stage are Babyface, Chance The Rapper, Chlöe, Doechii, Ella Mai, Fireboy DML, GIVĒON, Jack Harlow, Joey Bada$$, Maverick City Music x Kirk Franklin, Latto, Lizzo, Muni Long and Roddy Ricch.
Viewers will not find Lil Nas X at the awards, however, because he was snubbed from the awards nominees list. The performer has been vocal about his disdain toward the network on social media ahead of awards night.
“Thank you [BET] awards, an outstanding zero nominations again,” he wrote in a thread of now-deleted tweets, according to Billboard, after the nominations were announced.
