Shaunae Miller-Uibo dominated the race and easily won the final of the women’s 400-meters at the World Athletics Championships at Hayward Field Friday night.
Miller-Uibo was never challenged and took home the gold medal in a time of 49.11 seconds. Miller-Uibo, the two-time Olympic champion, won her first title at the world championships.
Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic was second in a time of 49.60 seconds and Sada Williams of Barbados was third in a time of 49.75 seconds.
