The Oregon State Beavers scored a No. 2 seed and the Oregon Ducks settled for a No. 6 seed at next week’s Pac-12 Baseball Tournament, which will feature an expanded field and a new format in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The nine-team event will have three days of pool play and include three teams in each pool. The winner of the pools — plus one wild card team — will advance to a single-elimination semifinal round, and the winner of those games play for the championship.
