Well the race is on! Yep, every winter weekend day the Govy 500 takes place to and from Mt. Hood that sees skiers and snowboarders clog up the highways from a day on the slopes. To celebrate this mountain ritual, the Govy 500 has partnered with Migration Brewing this year on Govy 500 IPA. This year’s launch party will take place on Friday, February 8, 2024 beginning at 6:30pm at the best bar in Government Camp, Oregon, Charlie’s Mountain View.
Govy 500 IPA is a West Coast IPA brewed by Migration Brewing. With a malt bill of just 2 Row Malt, this beer is a showcase for contemporary American hops. Leading the way is Azacca in a concentrated pellet form (Cryo) that exhibits bright overripe mango, papaya, and tangerine flavors. Rounding out the blend is the Idaho7 hop, with its aggressive pineapple flavor and dank, pine notes. Govy 500 IPA sits at 6.4% ABV and 50 IBUs.
The evening will feature an electrifying live performance by the incredible Blue Flags & Black Grass, renowned for rocking the stage and keeping you dancing all night long. Couple all this with Charlie’s legendary food and you’ve got a party for the history books!
