Booker’s Bourbon 2021-04 “Noe Strangers Batch”
Review
The fourth and final 2021 release from Booker’s spent exactly 6 years, 6 months, and 12 days in barrel (no word on the hours and minutes, unfortunately). Arriving at a truly decadent 62.2 percent ABV, it quickly proves to be an in-your-face experience, but this is certainly not a bourbon that lacks nuance or complexity. Instead, fruity and floral notes take charge of the expressive aromatic profile, before the palate transitions to freshly baked pastries, and a big dollop of caramel sauce. Add a dash of water and the whiskey will reveal more of its seemingly endless depth.
