Oregon is adding a fourth guard via the transfer portal.
Jesse Zarzuela, a 6-foot-3 guard who spent last season at Central Michigan, committed to transfer to UO on Tuesday.
Zarzuela, who has one year of eligibility remaining, averaged 16.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists last season in 17 games with seven starts. He shot 39.9% from the field, including 35.6% from three-point range, and 82.8% from the free throw line.
He is the fourth incoming transfer for the Ducks this offseason, joining junior college transfer Jadrian Tracey, former Georgia guard Kario Oquendo and former Arizona State guard Devan Cambridge. Oregon has one open scholarship for the 2023-24 season.
Zarzuela began his career at UTEP and had stops at Navarro (Texas) College, Missouri State West Plains and Coppin State before going to CMU last season.
