Two years ago, Chuckanut Brewery opened its doors to its first taproom outside of Washington State with the debut of the P. Nut Beer Hall in Portland, Oregon. When its Oregon distributor, Day One Distribution, moved into a new warehouse space in Southeast Portland, Chuckanut Brewery took over the buildings former first floor office space.
On Friday, December 8th, Chuckanut Brewery will host its P. Nut Beer Hall 2nd Anniversary Celebration. From 4:00-9:00pm, Chuckanut Brewery will host a celebration that’ll include new beer tappings, food from Demarco’s Sandwiches, raffles and more!
Chuckanut’s celebration will feature $10 Liter Steins and $10 Tulip pours of Big Biers. Raffles for Chuckanut merchandise including t-shirts and glassware will take place. Stop in for Keller pours from Gravity kegs with beer direct from the fermentation tanks at its brewery nearly four hours north of Portland in Burlington, Washington.
Beginning an hour after the taproom opens its doors, there will be three different gravity beers tapped starting at 5:00pm along with the new unfiltered Chuckanut Pale Ale featuring Amarillo, Centennial & Strata hops. Get a pint of the new batch of Scarlet Ale with it’s piney, spicy, balanced marriage between classic Irish and English ales. The luscious malt bill is exciting as well as satisfying. And don’t forget to try the newly tapped Alt Bier, a German classic malty style ale from Dusseldorf.
While at its 2nd Anniversary Celebration, enjoy the festivities with all the Chuckanut beers on tap and try your luck at darts, foosball and the new arcade game as well as board games with friends, old and new!
