Eric Reveno and Tim Shelton, recently hired as Oregon State assistant men’s basketball coaches, have received similar deals to coaches who they replaced.
Reveno, named as associate head coach, agreed to a two-year deal that pays $300,000 for the 2022-23 season, and $310,000 for 2023-24.
Shelton, an assistant coach, signed a two-year contract worth $205,008 for each of the next two seasons.
Reveno and Shelton replace Kerry Rupp and Stephen Thompson, who were relieved of their duties in March following a 3-28 season. Rupp was paid $292,356 and Thompson $215,004 last season.
Marlon Stewart, the third assistant on coach Wayne Tinkle’s staff, is earning $210,000 per year.
In addition, Reveno was given a relocation allowance of $15,000 and Shelton $7,500. Reveno left a similar position at Georgia Tech, while Shelton comes from Fresno State.
Reveno and Shelton must pay the school a buyout of $50,000 should they leave Oregon State before the end of their contract on June 30, 2024.
