As we head into the month of March, this means another great anniversary weekend in Hood River, Oregon as Double Mountain Brewery & Cidery celebrates its 17th Anniversary over St. Patrick’s Day Weekend! Yes, from Friday, March 15 through Sunday, March 17, Double Mountain will ring in 17 years at its Hood River Taproom and Brewery.
This year’s anniversary party will look a little different, and instead of hosting one large party on a single day, the brewery will be offering a weekend full of festive fun! From Friday to Sunday, guests can expect a lineup of live music, delectable culinary delights, special beer releases, and much more!
The highlight of the anniversary party will be the live music performances, set to take place on the taproom stage each of the three days. Attendees can groove to the sounds of various genres and enjoy performances by local bands. Friday’s lineup includes Speed Queen Underground and The Quick & Easy Boys, while Saturday will feature Jess Clemons, The Happa Hillbillies, The Night Farmers, and Greenneck Daredevils. Then to wind down the weekend, Sunday’s entertainment will showcase County Line and The Chicken S#!t Gamblers.
Saturday will also see the return of The Brewer’s Lounge starting at 2:00pm. This unique space within the brewery will be open to the public, offering a cozy ambiance complete with couches and seating. Guests can indulge in pizza by the slice and savor eight distinctive beer and cider selections. Additionally, the weekend will see the unveiling of two new beers in the taproom: The Fae and Burning Down The Haus.
Throughout the celebration, Double Mountain will be serving up Irish-inspired food specials, including corned beef sandwiches and the Paddy’s Pie. The culinary highlight of the weekend will be on Sunday morning, as Double Mountain hosts its first-ever brunch from 10:00am to 2:00pm. St. Paddy’s Day brunch options will feature two egg-based pizza pies, a full Irish breakfast, mimosas, and red beer.
“We are incredibly excited to mark this milestone with our community,” said Brewmaster Matt Swihart at Double Mountain Brewery and Cidery. “Seventeen years of brewing exceptional beer and fostering unforgettable memories wouldn’t have been possible without the continued support of our loyal patrons. We invite everyone to join us for a weekend filled with good vibes, great music, and of course, fantastic beer!”
