EUGENE — Former Oregon softball pitcher Makenna Kliethermes is headed to the SEC.
Kliethermes, who entered the transfer portal last month, committed to Ole Miss on Monday.
The Wardsville, Mo. native has two years of eligibility remaining.
Kliethermes went 11-7 with a 3.65 ERA and 116 strikeouts over 117 innings for the Ducks this season, including 2-3 with a 5.76 ERA and 1.53 WHIP with 39 strikeouts over 45 innings in Pac-12 play. She went 7-6 with a 3.45 ERA with 88 strikeouts over 67 innings as a second-year freshman in 2021.
