The track and field state championship meet concluded for the OSAA’s 3A, 2A and 1A classifications on Friday night at Hayward Field.

Here’s a look at the team champions from the state championship meet:
The Vikings were the most dominant team in the team competitions Friday, finishing with 90 team points. That’s well ahead of second-place Santiam Christian (73.5) and Catlin Gabel (64).
Siuslaw was led by three first places finishers. Kyle Hughes won the pole vault with a jump of 15 feet. Jonathan Rose won the boys discus with a throw of 141-08. Samuel Ulrich was one of three Vikings in the boys 800-meter race, finishing first in one minute, 55.2 seconds.
The Red Devils ended the competition with 66 team points. In second was Cascade Christian (59) and Oregon Episcopal (51).
Coquille was led by three state champions, all coming from the field events. Holli Vigue won the Class 3A discus with a throw of 125-09. Callie Millet won the javelin with a throw of 125-09. Reagan Krantz won the pole vault with a height of 10-09.00.
The Eagles finished with 57 team points, ahead of Weston-McEwen (47) and Delphian (44).
Aidan Morgan won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.43. Kaleo Wellman won the long jump with a jump of 22-00.25 and the triple jump with a jump of 44-08.75.
The Tigers led the competition with 61 team points. Heppner (58) came in second and Enterprise-Wallowa (51) in third.
Marley Petrey was a force for Bandon in the competition. The freshman won the 300-meter hurdles in 46.70 and the long jump with a jump of 16-08.75. She was the only individual state champion for the Tigers.
The Antelopes finished first with 57 team points. In second was Imbler with 47 points and third was Union with 39 points.
Jace Martin was nearly a one-man show on Friday. The senior won the 100-meter dash in 10.95, the 200-meter dash in 22.02 and the 400-meter dash in 50.94. The Antelopes’ boys 4×400-meter relay team also won first place in 3:32.25.
It was a close race in Class 1A. The Eagles won the state championship with 67 team points. Adrian and Crane tied for second with 64 team points each.
Damascus Christian didn’t have any gold medals from the events on Thursday and Friday, but did have 18 athletes make the podium in their events.
