The slogan for the 2023 Portland Rose Festival is “Focus on Fun” and there was plenty of fun to be had on a sunny Sunday at Tom McCall Waterfront Park for the CityFair.
Fairgoers flocked to downtown Portland to enjoy rides, games, sweet treats and salty snacks on a perfect Sunday afternoon in the Rose City — a rarity for the opening weekend of the annual festival.
CityFair is a ticketed event and one-day admission for everyone seven and older is $12. The fair, which will also include rotating local food trucks and a maker market with craft people working on site, runs for three weekends: Friday, May 26- Monday, May 29, Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 4 and Friday, June 9 to Sunday, June 11.
