A male pedestrian died early Sunday after a hit-and-run driver struck him on Northeast Glisan Street near 60th Avenue, police say.
The crash happened around 12:17 a.m., and the driver fled, police said.
The man’s death marks the 44th traffic fatality in Portland so far this year. Of those, at least 14 have been pedestrians.
