What is “60 Days In” and what is the show about?
This season of “60 Days In” takes place in Pitt County, North Carolina. The cast is composed of seven total participants who will enter the detention center to try and spend 60 days inside the jail. You can see a preview of what’s to come in the 60 Days In Season 8 trailer.
In case you haven’t seen the show, this series follows civilians who give up their regular lives for 60 days in order to go undercover in a jail to help the warden, and law enforcement, better understand the challenges they face by informing about the goings on behind bars within their facility. Who is on Season 8 of “60 Days In”? A look at the cast
The show follows seven civilian participants as they go undercover in North Carolina’s Pitt County Detention Center on a mission to help change the facility for the better. With a large part of her command staff retiring, and after an inmate recently overdosed from drugs, Sheriff Paula Dance will be relying on the seven participants to evaluate new hires and test protocols they have in place to ensure the jail can be a safe place for both inmates and staff. The cast members have not yet been revealed, but the cast member names and bios all appear on the “Cast” section of the 60 Days In website.
