Going into the final event at the OSAA Class 6A Swimming State Championships, Nelson had a two-point lead over Jesuit on the team standings. By the end of the night, though, the Crusaders would walk away with the title.
Jesuit totaled 114 points to Nelson’s 108 points to clinch the boys state swimming title Saturday at the Tualatin Hills Aquatic Center. Sunset finished third with 77 points in a field of 25 boys teams.
