In honor of Earth Day, Laurelwood Brewing is partnering with SOLVE for a beach clean-up day along the scenic Oregon Coast. The beach clean-up will take place at South Beach State Park in Newport, Oregon on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 11:00am-2:00pm.
The goal of this three-hour beach clean-up is to pick up the trash that has accumulated on the beach from over the winter. It’s a perfect way for family and friends to come together to better the community. For your efforts, Laurelwood Brewing will offer free beer to all of the volunteers that are of legal drinking age!
To volunteer, it is highly suggested to register in advance. This way you’ll guarantee your spot! To register and learn more, click here.
Volunteers will meet at the South Beach State Park Day Use Area Parking Lot. Please look for the SOLVE signs to find out where the group is meeting. Bring gloves and a thirst for fun, music and beer. Oh, and a thirst for helping to keep our environment clean!
SOLVE and Laurelwood Brewing Company will provide cleanup bags, hand sanitizer, a biohazard box, and a few trash-grabbers.
Parking is found at the South Beach State Park Day Use Area. There might be a parking toll. Restrooms will be available at the Day Use Parking Lot Area.
If you are volunteering with multiple people for this event please register as a Team. See this short guide for how to register as a Team SOLVE | How-To-Guide (solveoregon.org).
