A man is died Friday night after a shooting in the Portsmouth neighborhood in North Portland, according to police.
Portland police responded to a call at 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 7600 block of North Portsmouth Avenue and found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
Police have not released any further details, but homicide detectives are investigating.
