One local brewer is bucking the trends when it comes to beer festivals. Though many longstanding festivals have gone into retirement, McMenamins continues to expands its festivals and the latest takes place this coming Saturday. The inaugural McMenamins Grand Lodge Brewfest will take place on Saturday, June 3 from 2:00-8:00pm.
Located just west of Hillsboro in Forest Grove, Oregon, the McMenamins Grand Lodge will host its first ever beer festival on its expansive lawn. There will be plenty of beverages to sample. Everything from beers, ciders, cold brews, and fermented products while listening to a mix of live music.
On tap will be 24 beers, 5 ciders, 2 wineries, 2 distilleries and one coffee roaster. Tickets are sold in advance ($30) and at the door ($35) and will include a souvenir glass and 10 tasting tokens.

In addition to all of the beverages, there will be live music throughout the afternoon and evening. Jay Si Proof will kick things off from 2:00-3:30 and will be followed by Megan Diana from 4:00-5:30 and the headliner will be The Old Yellers from 6:00-8:00pm.
