Kansas City, the defending Super Bowl champs, are one of nine teams that are beginning NFL training camp activities with rookies reporting today.
The San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills and New York Giants will also see rookies reporting today.
The New York Jets, with new quarterback Aaron Rodgers, will have rookies reporting July 19 and veterans reporting July 21. The Cleveland Browns will also have rookies reporting July 19 and veterans reporting July 21. The Jets and Browns are set to meet in the NFL/Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 3.
Kansas City will host the Detroit Lions in the league’s annual primetime kickoff game on Sept. 7.
For every club except Cleveland, Detroit (July 22), Kansas City (July 22), the Jets and Pittsburgh (July 26), veterans for all other teams will report on July 25.
