Oregon had 17 hits, its most in more than three years, in a second run-rule win over Lindenwood in as many days.
Five players homered for the No. 16 Ducks, 11 had hits, 10 scored runs and nine had RBIs in a 16-0 onslaught in five innings Friday night in front of 1,936 at Jane Sanders Stadium.
Oregon (25-11) scored 13 runs in the first two innings and had its most hits since putting up 18 against Drake on Feb. 28, 2020.
“I really love how these guys swung the bat today,” Oregon coach Melyssa Lombardi said. “I felt like they really swung the bat with authority. I thought they put themselves in good counts.”
The Ducks (25-11) scored immediately on an RBI single by Kai Luschar (3 for 3) to score Hanna Delgado (3 for 4). Luschar later scored on a ground out by Terra McGowan. KK Humphreys and Karissa Ornelas hit back-to-back RBI doubles and Ariel Carlson followed with a two-run home run to make it 6-0 after one.
Allee Bunker and Tehya Bird each hit three-run homers in the second with Ornelas adding an RBI single in between.
Remmington Hewitt hit the 11th pitch of her at-bat for a solo shot to left in the fourth and Alyssa Daniell added a two-run blast.
Stevie Hansen (15-4) allowed a walk with one strikeout over 3.0 scoreless innings and Reagan Breedlove gave up three hits over 2.0 innings.
Avery Wapp allowed 10 runs on nine hits and a walk over 1.1 innings for Lindenwood (13-20).
The Ducks return to Pac-12 play at Arizona State next Friday.
