Oregon has its first Pac-12 series sweep of the season.
Tehya Bird and Alyssa Daniell each had two RBIs and Stevie Hansen and Morgan Scott combined to allow four hits in a 4-0 win for the No. 18 Ducks over the Sun Devils Sunday afternoon at Farrington Stadium.
Hansen and Scott held ASU to 0 for 13 with runners on, including 0 for 7 with runners in scoring position.
Bird (3 for 3) hit a two-out single to score Daniell and put Oregon (28-11, 8-7 Pac-12) on the board in the second.
Daniell added a two-out single in the third and Bird did the same in the fifth to make it 3-0. Daniell hit a solo home run to right in the top of the seventh
Hansen (16-4) allowed three hits, a walk and hit batter and struck out three over 5.0 innings and Scott allowed a hit and walk with two strikeouts over 2.0 innings to pick up her fifth save.
Mac Osborne (4-10) allowed two runs on four hits and two walks over 3.0 innings and Marissa Schuld (1.0 IP) and Kenzie Brown (3.0 IP, five hits, two walks) each allowed a run for Arizona State (22-15, 5-10).
The Ducks return home to host a doubleheader against Portland State on Tuesday beginning at 3 p.m.
