Oregon’s five-game win streak was snapped by Minnesota, then it scored its most runs in more than three years against Cal Poly.
Alyssa Daniell’s solo home run was one of just two hits for the No. 20 Ducks in a 4-1 loss to the Golden Gophers, then Daniell hit two more homers and Allee Bunker went 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs in a 17-1 win in five innings over Cal Poly Friday afternoon at the Judi Garman Classic in Fullerton, California.
Daniell’s solo shot gave UO a 1-0 lead in the top of the second against Minnesota, which scored three via long balls in the bottom of the inning.
