‘Not alone in our anger’: Thousands gather in downtown Portland to speak out against the fall of Roe v. Wade

As mist from the Salmon Street Springs created a rainbow under a clear blue sky, a few hundred people gathered in mourning Friday evening after the Supreme Court overturned the federal right to abortion in the United States.

The crowd in downtown Portland was made up of families (and many dogs), people of all identities young and old, some riding bikes – all coming together to express outrage.
