A board member overseeing the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission confirmed Thursday that he sought bottles of hard-to-find bourbon last year on behalf of a nonprofit organization where he volunteers.
Matt Maletis emailed the OLCC’s distilled spirits program director last November, forwarding a request from a representative of the Classic Wines Foundation for 10 sought-after bourbons to be auctioned at a fundraiser.
