Oregon is losing one of its catchers to transfer.
Josiah Cromwick, who hit .248 with seven home runs and 23 RBIs in 40 games with 31 starts for the Ducks this season, entered the transfer portal on Monday, according to a source with knowledge of the matter.
The junior has one year of eligibility remaining.
In three seasons at UO Cromwick played in 93 games with 68 starts and hit .260 with 11 home runs and 47 RBIs.
The Ducks return catchers Bennett Thompson (.340, four home runs and 22 RBIs), Chase Meggers and Anson Aroz (.265, one home run, seven RBIs) and have three commitments in Kehden Hettiger, Nathan Davis and Zachary Justice.
