Oregon Ducks’ assistant coach Jordan Somerville is joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a report.
Somerville will be joining the Buccaneers staff as the assistant quarterbacks under on head coach Todd Bowles’ staff. Somerville was an offensive analyst with the Ducks during the 2022 season.
Somerville, 27, will work under new offensive coordinator Dave Canales. Canales, the quarterbacks coach with the Seattle Seahawks since 2018, was hired as the offensive coordinator to replace Byron Leftwich.
The Buccaneers’ offensive staff has been overhauled going into the 2023 season. Canales, Somerville and quarterbacks coach Thad Lewis are new hires for the 2023 season.
