Oregon’s jobless rate fell below 4% for the first time in nearly a year in May, according to new state data out Wednesday.
Employers added 3,600 jobs last month, the Oregon Employment Department reported, slightly ahead of the state’s pace over the past 12 months. The biggest gains were in the finance, hospitality and logistics sectors. Each of those segments added more than 1,000 new jobs.
