Authorities looking for a car sought in connection with a drive-by shooting in Vancouver Wednesday afternoon found it hours later, setting off a wild chase that ended in Portland when the car crashed into a MAX train.
It all began about 3 p.m. Thursday when police were sent to the Alder Creek Apartments, 11614 N.E. 49th St., to investigate a drive-by shooting, the Vancouver Police Department reported. Police, given descriptions of the car and the suspects, kept an eye out.
