Portland police on Friday identified a man fatally shot May 24 in Northeast Portland’s North Tabor neighborhood as 36-year-old Jessie Lavell Marks Sr.
Officers responded to the shooting at 9:18 a.m. near the intersection of Northeast Glisan Street and 55th Avenue where they found Marks dead, police said. Several neighborhood residents said they heard gunshots about 4:30 a.m.
