The Portland Police Bureau on Thursday publicly identified the victim in Sunday’s fatal shooting in the Centennial neighborhood.
Brandon Lee Allen, 33, was shot to death in the 1500 block of Southeast 174th Avenue shortly before 4:30 p.m., according to a news release from the bureau.
No suspects have been identified or arrested.
Allen’s death marks the 46th homicide of 47 so far in Portland in 2023. At this time last year, a record-breaking year for homicides in Portland, the city also had experienced 47 homicides.
