In an expected move, the Portland Trail Blazers downgraded Anfernee Simons to being out for Friday night’s game at the Atlanta Hawks.
He had been listed as doubtful after re-injuring his right ankle during Wednesday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans at the Moda Center.
Cam Reddish will start in place of Simons with Matisse Thybulle starting at shooting guard.
