The Portland Trail Blazers could be without a couple more injured players when they continue their four-game trip Tuesday night at the Memphis Grizzlies.
Kevin Knox II, after scoring 19 points off the bench during Sunday’s 107-105 win at Minnesota, is listed as questionable with knee soreness. Also questionable are Trendon Watford (right ankle sprain), Cam Reddish (lumbar soreness) and John Butler Jr. (left ankle sprain). Watford and Butler played against the Timberwolves. Reddish did not.
The Blazers (33-45) will begin Tuesday with the fifth-worst record in the NBA, a half game behind Indiana (34-45) and one game behind the Orlando Magic (34-44). The Magic play two games at Cleveland (49-30) on Tuesday and Thursday. The Cavaliers are pretty much locked into fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
The Pacers, who have lost seven out of their last nine games, host the New York Knicks (46-33) on Wednesday. The Knicks have a stronghold on fifth in the East.
The Grizzlies, second in the West, have a two-game lead over third-place Sacramento (47-31).
