I don’t know who to thank – the city of Portland? Central City Concern? A concerned Portlander? We have had an encampment on Southeast Taggart Street between 14th and 15th Avenues for over two years. Some of the campers have been tidy and thoughtful. This past year, not so much. It has been a mess, full of trash, bicycle parts and more. Miraculously, one day last week it disappeared. Thank you to whoever is responsible. We are very appreciative.
