Oregon added a third quarterback to its 2024 recruiting class.
Ryder Hayes, an unranked prospect out of Grandview, Texas, committed to the Ducks on Saturday as a preferred walk-on. He was among the quarterbacks to take part in UO’s Saturday Night Live camp.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Hayes is not ranked in the 247Sports Composite. He attended Oregon’s last two spring games.
Hayes joins Oregon’s 2024 recruiting class, which includes quarterbacks Luke Moga and Michael Van Buren, offensive linemen Fox Crader, Trent Ferguson, Devin Brooks and JacQawn McRoy, receivers Jordan Anderson, Dillon Gresham and Jack Ressler, tight ends A.J. Pugliano and Jackson Ford, edge defender Jaxson Jones, safeties Aaron Flowers and Kingston Lopa, defensive linemen Tionne Gray and Xadavien Sims, cornerback Ify Obidegwu, kicker Gage Hurych, running back Da’Jaun Riggs and linebackers Dylan Williams and Kamar Mothudi.
Oregon’s class is No. 12 in the 247Sports Composite.
