Portland transportation officials are warning people that Monday’s commute could be dicey as temperatures dip overnight and more snow possibly falls.
As of Sunday evening, one school district in the Portland area had announced it would close Monday. That’s the Reynolds School District, which stretches from Northeast Portland through Gresham, Fairview and into Troutdale. Others planned late starts.
The city of Portland on Sunday announced that offices and recreation facilities would open to the public at 10 a.m.
Its morning preschool classes are canceled Monday, city officials said in a press release Sunday.
