For its ninth year, the SheBrew Beer and Cider Festival will once again celebrate the women in the brewing and cider industry. SheBrew, a family-friendly beer and cider festival showcasing over 45 professional female brewers and ten homebrewers from the Pacific Northwest, will host its ninth annual event in Portland at The Redd on Salmon on Sunday, March 10 from Noon – 7:00pm.
SheBrew organizers anticipate over a thousand attendees being able to experience a choice of 50+ beers, ciders, Gluten-Free beers, Non-Alcoholic beers, hop waters, wine spritzes and more to sample from leading female brewers from the Pacific Northwest. There will also be female-owned food carts and vendors on site.
Tickets are available now, with general admission tickets priced at $30 online or $35 at the door. Each ticket includes a commemorative tasting glass, sample tickets, a vote for the homebrews competition and a Human Rights Campaign membership. VIP tickets are available for $65 per person, including general admission benefits as well as early admission and ten raffle tickets.
Professional brewing participants will include Lisa Allen of Gold Dot Beer; Natalie Baldwin of Wayfinder; Sonia-Marie Leikam of Leikam Brewing; Anna Buxton of Steeplejack; Jen Kent of Brewery XO; Tonya Cornett of 10 Barrel; Whitney Burnside of Grand Fir Brewing; Madeleine McCarthy of Von Ebert Brewing; and many more.
Organized by the Human Rights Campaign and the Oregon Brew Crew, SheBrew is a 100% nonprofit event, with proceeds supporting the Human Rights Campaign.The leading female professional and amateur beer and cider competition offers female homebrewers opportunities for networking, craft beverage sharing and customer connection.
