Newly elected Multnomah County Chair Jessica Vega Pederson announced last week she plans a sweeping review to fix profound problems at the county’s troubled animal shelter.
“We’ve put together a team and an approach committed to making meaningful change because Multnomah County deserves these issues to be resolved promptly and completely,” she said of the review, which she first called for 11 days into her term.
