Season 20 of “The Bachelorette” has so far shown star Charity Lawson to be funny, smart and probably much too cool to meet the love of her life on a TV dating show. In Episode 4, which airs Monday, July 17 on ABC, Charity brings her quest for romance to the Northwest, as she and the remaining guys take a trip to Stevenson, Washington.
(How to watch: “The Bachelorette” Season 20 Episode 4 premieres at 9 p.m. Monday, July 17, on ABC. No cable or antenna? You can live stream the show on Fubo, which offers a free trial. After it airs, you can also watch the episode streaming on demand.)
Stevenson, located in Skamania County, is in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, so it’s no surprise that the episode description is playing up the natural splendor of it all. Specifically, ABC says Monday night’s episode features Charity and the men going to Stevenson, Washington, “for a week full of scenic dates that will take their love to new heights and test their survival skills. Later, drama erupts when a surprise guest crashes the cocktail party.”
Well, since the cocktail parties tend to be drama-filled disasters, a surprise guest may be an improvement. Let’s just hope that this week, Charity doesn’t spend any more time paying attention to Brayden, whose main interest in this whole thing seems to be Brayden.
Last week’s episode did have its highlights, including a promo bit for the upcoming “Barbie” movie that featured the guys wearing ridiculous outfits inspired by some of the Ken doll’s ridiculous outfits.
And Charity had the good sense to send Warwick home, after going on a one-on-one date in which Warwick barely uttered a word, and seemed totally uncomfortable.
Let’s hope Charity enjoys those scenic Washington dates tonight!
“The Bachelorette” Season 20, Episode 4, airs at 9 p.m. Monday, July 17 on ABC.
