Hip hop band The Roots will perform in Portland at Pioneer Courthouse Square during their national tour on Saturday, July 30 at 6 p.m. Tickets are now available for the show coming at the end of the month, starting at around $70 per ticket.

The Roots is an American hip-hop band founded by emcee Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter and drummer Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson in 1987. Originally formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the band and its current members now reside in New York City where they act as the house band for The Tonight Show, hosted by Jimmy Fallon. On July 30, they will perform at Pioneer Courthouse Square as part of their national tour.
