The victim in Sunday morning’s fatal stabbing at a Cascadia Health housing facility in Gresham was a mental health aide, and a client of the facility has been taken into custody, an email from Cascadia Health CEO Derald Walker said.
Gresham police officers found the woman dead at McCarthy Place in the 900 block of Northeast 165th Avenue about 7 a.m., police said. Walker identified the victim as Haley Rogers, an employee of the behavioral health and substance use treatment services organization for five years.
