Gov. Tina Kotek has placed the top employee at the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Board on paid administrative leave, months after a mysterious investigation into her conduct was completed.
Constance Wold, whom Gov. Kate Brown appointed as board chair of the 79-employee agency in 2017, was placed on administrative leave Thursday, a day after The Oregonian/OregonLive revealed that the state paid a lawyer more than $42,000 to conduct an investigation into workplace complaints against Wold.
