Unbeaten in their respective conferences, the Jesuit and Tualatin girls basketball teams took a break from their league schedules Saturday to face off against each other in a stiff test for two of the best 6A teams in the state.
In a predictably low-scoring battle, Jesuit built a 12-point halftime lead and barely held on at the end for a 35-31 victory over the host Timberwolves at Tualatin High School.
Emma Sixta scored eight of her 12 points in the second quarter for Jesuit (21-2), which ran its unbeaten streak to 15 games. Sofia Bell added 11 points.
