The Portland Trail Blazers won’t get a chance to defend their 2022 summer league championship.
The Utah Jazz won 97-93 over Phoenix Friday night to remain undefeated along with Cleveland and Detroit. All three earned playoff berths.
The Blazers (3-1) ended up in a seven-way tie for fourth place and the final playoff berth. The point differential tiebreaker went to Brooklyn (plus-10.0) over the Blazers (plus-6.3).
The Blazers play their final summer league game at 5 p.m., Sunday against Miami (ESPN2).
