The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for noon Saturday through 10 p.m. Monday as temperatures in Northwest Oregon were forecast to soar above 90.
The Portland area will be sunny with a high near 94 Saturday as a high pressure system strengths. On Sunday, the high is expected to be close to 100 degrees, before dropping back Monday to the mid-90s for a daytime high.
