A Forest Grove man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a charge that he threw a cup of hot water on a fellow adult in custody at the Washington County Jail last week, leaving the man with second-degree burns to his face, neck and chest.
Sheriff’s officials did not identify the person who was burned in the July 11 attack. He was treated at a local hospital and is continuing to receive medical care at the jail, the sheriff’s office said.
