A barrage of two-out singles was Oregon’s undoing in the rubber match with USC.
Matthew Grabmann allowed six runs on five hits — all singles — two walks and a hit batter over 2.0 innings in an 11-4 loss for the No. 17 Ducks Sunday afternoon at Dedeaux Field.

Anson Aroz hit an RBI double to get Oregon (31-16, 14-10 Pac-12) on the board in the top of the fourth.
Turner Spoljaric hit a batter then allowed three straight singles and a double, all with two outs, to make it 10-1. Spoljaric allowed four runs on five hits, a walk and hit batter over 2.0 innings.
Drew Cowley and Sabin Ceballos hit back-to-back home runs in the fifth.
USC added a run in the sixth and Oregon got it back in the seventh.
Five Trojans pitchers combined to allow four runs, three earned, on 10 hits and six walks with four strikeouts.
