A Vancouver man who was killed in a shooting last week was identified by the Clark County Medical Examiner on Thursday.
Ramon Magana-Izazaga, 27, was found dead in a vehicle a few blocks from the scene of a shooting that occurred about 11 p.m. on May 16, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies had responded to reports of gunfire at a mobile home park in the 6800 block of Northeast 131st Avenue just a few minutes earlier.
“When deputies arrived, they located evidence of a possible gunshot victim,” the sheriff’s office said. “A short time later, a one-vehicle collision was reported a couple blocks from the trailer park.”
Magana-Izazaga was found dead inside the crashed vehicle.
A juvenile suspect, who was not identified, was arrested soon after the shooting and booked on suspicion of second-degree murder, along with other lesser charges.
