The Idol, the highly controversial and sexually charged new series from the creators of Euphoria starring Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd, debuts its finale Episode 5 tonight, Sunday, July 2 at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET on MAX (formerly known as HBO Max)… one whole episode earlier than it was supposed to.
We now know that Tedros (The Weeknd) is a power-hungry con man, and that The Weeknd’s hate-able character is meant to give the viewer icky feelings, according to the musician. As abuse becomes a staple in Jocelyn’s (Lily-Rose Depp) villa (filmed in The Weeknd’s actual price home) and the rest of the artists squatting there become bystanders to crimes, it leaves us wondering whether Leia, or another member, will leave. After Destiny decides to be the “eyes and ears” by entering the home last episode, will she and Chaim come up with a brilliant plan to rescue Jocelyn? Will they kill Tedros? Fans everywhere are hoping we aren’t left on a cliffhanger, but only time will tell. To watch the latest episode, tune in tonight on MAX.
