Portland should experience another cool, mostly cloudy day on Monday, with temperatures likely to reach 70 degrees by about 5 p.m, forecasters at the National Weather Service say.
Tuesday will mark a change, however, with mostly sunny skies all afternoon and highs around 80 degrees, they say. That is the forecast for Wednesday through Friday as well.
Monday’s temperatures will remain in the low 60s for the morning and early afternoon and skies will remain mostly cloudy until late afternoon, when sky cover should lighten and temperatures hover around 70 degrees, forecasters say. There is virtually no chance of rain at any point Monday or Tuesday, they say.
The overnight low from Monday into Tuesday is forecast to be in the mid-50.
