The 2022 NBA draft is nearly upon us. This year’s event is taking place on Thursday, June 23 with coverage starting at 5 p.m. on ESPN and plenty of intrigue around who will be the top pick. Will it be Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren? Could it be Jabari Smith of Auburn, or will it be Duke’s Paolo Banchero? Most experts believe those players will round out the Top 3, but there is plenty of intrigue around what will happen after that. When it comes to the NBA draft, expect the unexpected.
The Portland Trail Blazers will have the No. 7 overall selection in the first round and a report says they are planning to keep the pick instead of pursuing a trade. If they keep it, who will they select? Some say Shaedon Sharpe is their target, but Jeremy Sochan is another player that has been linked to the Blazers.
Here’s a look at everything you need to know about Thursday’s NBA draft, including the complete selection order, streaming and TV information and more.
